I’ve been so busy recently I have neglected the blog a bit and have many weddings and shoots to share. Things are getting back to normality a bit now so I will be blogging like a mad thing over the next week or so. For now, I thought I had better share Laura and Gareth’s pre-wedding portraits as they are getting married tomorrow. We met on a blustery summer evening at Cheesefoot Head near Winchester, with views over the rolling Hampshire countryside. I met up with Sue and Rich at Farley Mount near Winchester for their pre-wedding portraits last week. Oh how I love summer evenings and the beautiful golden sunlight, which is all a bit flary and ethereal. The yellow fields of oilseed rape made a really vibrant backdrop for the photos, and I’ve been aiming to do some photos here each year and never managed to schedule anything in so I am well pleased we found this spot. Here’s hoping for another gorgeous sunny day for their Botleigh Grange wedding this weekend.

Last week I met up with Rich and Caitriona in historic Winchester for their pre-wedding photos. The cathedral is a great backdrop for portraits, I love the textures of the walls and the archways of the flying buttresses. It was a fresh Spring day, with lovely warm sun and a first hint of the new season.  They are getting married at one of my favourite venues, the Longhouse in Bruton Somerset in a few weeks, and I’m really looking forward to their (hopefully) sunny Spring wedding in the Countryside.
