There was actually one day this month when it wasn’t raining. This was the evening we went to beautiful West Wittering beach in West Sussex for Lucy & Matt’s pre-wedding portraits. I like a good location for photographing and the deserted sandy beach, colourful beach huts, dunes, blue sea and warm evening sunlight were perfect. Looking forward to Lucy and Matt’s Hillier Gardens wedding next week (more sun please!)

I had just moved down to Southsea and it was lovely to get out by the sea on one of the first hot days of the year. I think their outdoor wedding in May is going to be a lot of fun, looking forward to it.

Jemma & Gareth live in an amazing flat overlooking to common and after a sunny evening’s stroll on the seafront for their pre-wedding portraits I am more than half convinced we need to move back there. (We are looking at a house this week!) I’m a bit behind on the blogging, they got married yesterday, but lets reminisce about the time before the wedding when they were still frantically making table favours and looking forward to the big day…

I am often jealous of  Californian photographers with their golden beaches and beautiful cali sunlight. Well we’ve got pretty evening sun and sandy beaches in Dorset too! This is Jane and Mark on Highcliffe beach. They get married this weekend at Norton Park so you’ll see more of them soon…
