Jess & Mark’s Wedding at Crewe Hall
Jess & Mark moved their wedding from Southampton back to Jess’s home terrritory and I’m so glad I went with them. Nice to get out of the usual Hampshire wedding venues and go on an adventure up North. They chose Crewe Hall for their reception, an awesome Jacobean mansion with the most amazing elaborate interiors. I could have occupied them for most of the day for photos amongst the dark decor, but thats not really what weddings are about is it. This wedding was all about Jess and Mark, and they held a truly personal, warm and fun wedding for a large group of friends and family.
My weekend started at the wedding rehersal on Friday and I knew it was going to be a good wedding as the bride and half the congregation were already in tears that evening. I joined them again Saturday morning as Jess got ready with her family and bridesmaids, and then headed off to the lovely village church of All Saints in Bednall. Jess and Mark are both talented musicians, and they incorporated this into the beautiful service , with Mark arranging the music for the bride’s entrance, and involving their friends in the music, on the organ and singing from the choir Cantores Michaelis. It was a very moving and spiritual service.
After the ceremony everyone headed up the motorway to Crewe Hall for drinks and photos, and before you knew it , time for the recieving line and dinner was served. The music continued into the speeches, and Mark serenaded Jess (in her white dress) and then the Best Men sang a toast to the happy couple. In the evening guests got silly on the dancfloor with a Ceilidh, which is a great way of getting people up and dancing.

Many Congratulations Jess & Mark!
This one of the Father of the Bride as he sees is daughter in her wedding dress has to be my absolute favourite from the day.

Julia & Craig’s Wedding at Colden Common Church & Winchester Royal Hotel
Julia & Craig got married at their local church, the Holy Trinity in Colden Common, with their wedding reception at the Winchester Royal hotel hidden away in the centre of Winchester city centre. I had a relaxing morning with Julia and her family getting glammed up, and then on to the church for the nuptials as the sun finally broke through the clouds. We decided to stop somewhere between the wedding and the reception for some Bride & Groom photos. Out into the Hampshire countryside, I had scouted out a perfect cornfield for some stunning photos, and a bit of time for the new Mr & Mrs Osgerby to relax. Hope they think it was worth the time, I’m really pleased with the results!
Then off to the hotel where everyone enjoyed drinks in the flowery garden before sitting down to the wedding breakfast. I was amazed how beautiful the room’s looked, having visited several weeks before, the transformation was fantastic, and Julia and Craig had put in so much effort into the details. I always love the speeches, its good to hear the stuff you really should know before the wedding, and I was especially pleased to go to a wedding where everyone placed bets on the timing of the speeches, something that always happens amongst my own group of friends. Think the lady on the naughty table at the back won it- and yes you lot I do have those moustache photos!
A fun wedding, with lots of nice people, and I hope this carries on for the rest of their married life. Many Congratulations Mr & Mrs Osgerby!

Katie & Richard’s Beaulieu Abbey Wedding
What a Beaulieu-ful day! (Sorry, just couldn’t resist) Katie & Richard got married in the gorgeous surroundings of Beaulieu Abbey on a hot and sunny June day. The historic church was a grand setting for the ceremony and we got some great bride and groom pictures outside in the ruins of the old Abbey afterwards. (thanks to best man Gareth for the last minute check on access!) Somehow with the biggest zoom lens I could hold I did manage to get that shot of Richard’s shoes- don’t know if everyone spotted those
After a speedy horse and carriage ride through the New Forest they celebrated with their guests at the Beaulieu hotel. My thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome. All credit goes to Katie for her unrehearsed speech- Now I know why her dad was wearing those sunglasses coming up to the church. Evening celebrations kicked off with a classy choreographed first dance and I left as everyone was dancing away to the band.
Katie & Richard, hope you had a fabulous day and enjoyed every minute of it, and my very best wishes for luck and happiness in the future.

Sam & Glenns Wedding at All Saints Church and New Place
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Samantha and Glenn Roberts. They got married in the quaint All Saint’s church in Dibden, a bright and pretty setting for the emotional ceremony. After the service everyone made the journey down to New Place in Shirrell Heath for champagne in the sunshine and to party the night away. The grounds of New Place are great for photos and I think we got some real winners when we slipped off during coffees to get some romantic bride and groom shots before sunset.

Mr & Mrs Roberts, my very best wishes to you both! I hope these photos bring back many happy memories from your wedding day.

Jilla & Neil’s Wedding in Soberton
Jilla and Neil got married on a sunny autumn day at St Peter’s Church in the Hampshire village of Soberton. The traditional English country wedding at the pretty country church was followed by another great English tradition- Curry and a pint!
The weather was brilliant for a October and we managed to sneak away from the main wedding party for some lovely photos by a little stream in Soberton.
Below are a few sneak peeks from their wedding photographs. The full gallery is now online for friends and family to view and buy prints by clicking the link HERE. (The password is the bride’s maiden name)

Katie & Edward’s Wedding
Congratulations Katie & Ed!
Wow what a party! I had a great day shooting Katie & Ed’s wedding on Saturday. They had a beautiful ceremony at St Margarets in East Wellow, a sweet country church, and then back to Ed’s parents for a mammoth celebration. The sun came out, the champagne flowed freely and everyone came up with some amazing dance moves!
Everyone was so nice, but a special thanks to the lovely lady in pink who drove me to the church and back when I lost my car keys at the house, and then helped organise people for the group photos. Drop me an email, I would love to send you some prints of your choice, you were a star!
