I met Jo and Graham through my friend Laura, and was so pleased when they booked me because they are such a lovely couple. I was even more pleased when we went to look around Mottisfont as it is so amazingly beautiful for photos I could have kept them all afternoon snapping away. The National Trust house, set in stunning grounds near Romsey was such a grand but also intimate setting, being open exclusively for their wedding on Friday.
I joined Jo and her family at her mum’s in the morning, while she slipped on that gorgeous soft pink wedding dress, then headed off to Mottisfont for the main event. The touching ceremony with a heart felt reading from Jo’s sister, was followed by drinks on the lawn and the wedding breakfast in the Old Dining Room. We managed to steal away before and after dinner for some bride and groom photos in the grounds, including the sweet scented rose gardens, and I’m so glad Jo & Graham indluged me with the time to really get the best from the location. In the evening everyone headed to the Mill Arms in Dunbridge for drinks and the disco.
Jo & Graham, many congratulations, you seem great together and may you have a long and happy marriage. Have a fantastic honeymoon in Aruba!
Here are some sneak previews from their wedding photos. The full gallery is now online for friends and family at this link and the password is Jo’s maiden name.
