Hinton Ampner Wedding: Gemma & Andrew’s Victorian themed Wedding

Wedding at Hinton Ampner in Hampshire, National Trust house and gardensGemma and Andrew were married at the National Trust estate Hinton Ampner near Alresford this summer. It’s a grand old house, with beautiful flower gardens and formal hedges and lawns overlooking the most stunning views. Gemma had a busy morning with her troupe of 6 bridesmaids and family bustling to get ready for the wedding. She arrived at Hinton Ampner in a grand Rolls Royce, wearing an elegant lace dress, her bridesmaids in red. The emotional ceremony was held in the main hall of the country house, with personalised vows and readings. Afterwards guests enjoyed the sunny afternoon on the lawn looking out over the Hampshire countryside. The wedding had a loose Victorian theme, and Gemma & Andrew added lots of vintage touches to the decoration of the marquee, with a black, white and burgundy colour scheme. We had talked about their theme when we met up first, and it was cool that they managed to build the picture frame wall that we planned. Guests were able to grab a Victorian paper mask or top hat and pose for photos in the empty frames.  Gemma and Andrew wanted a formal but fun feel to the day, and I think managed to pull off the elegance and occasion befitting the location, while enjoying a relaxed and happy wedding. Here are some photos from their day…
