Robin & Becky’s Prewedding Portraits, somewhere in a field in Hampshire
Robin’s facebook statuses over the past year or so have been pretty much entirely focussed on one subject: Beautiful, wonderful, sweet, funny Becky. So it was lovely to finally meet the lady who has turned him into a complete soppy romantic. They get married in a few weeks down in Dorset, but we met up in a field near Winchester for their pre-wedding portraits amongst the flowers. Winchester Wedding Photographer: Sarah & Tim’s Hotel Du Vin Wedding
Sarah and Tim were married at the elegant Hotel Du Vin in Winchester on one of the first sunny Spring weekends of the year. They planned an intimate celebration on the wedding day with close friends and family, and held another big party a few weeks later. The Hotel Du Vin was a perfect setting, with its quirky interior, and reputation for good foods and wines, and they had decorated the tables with dusky pink and cream flowers and Parisian themed decor. Located right in the centre of Winchester, we were able to explore some back streets of the historic city for the bride and groom’s portraits. It was a really relaxed day with drinks in the sunshine and Sarah and Time both just smiled non-stop all day. Here are some highlights from their Winchester wedding…

Romsey Wedding Photographer: Adriana & Liam’s Tearoom wedding
Adriana and Liam were married at Highfield Church in Southampton on a wet Saturday in February. It was a lovely personal service, with prayers, readings and musical accompaniment from their friends and family during the service. After they were married everyone had tea and cake in the church before heading off to Romsey for the reception at Annie’s Tearooms in Kimbridge. The quaint restaurant and teashop was a cosy setting for drinks and dinner, decorated with pretty bunting and teapot table centres. After the funny and teary speeches, the tables were cleared aside and they celebrated into the evening with a Ceilidh. Here are some photos from their day…

New Forest Wedding: Lindsey & Michael’s Engagement Photos at Rhinefield
Lindsey and Michael are getting married at beautiful Rhinefield House in the New Forest at the weekend. We met up a couple of weeks ago out in the Forest on Rhinefield Ornamental Drive for their pre-wedding photos, amongst the amazing tall trees.

Cyprus Beach Wedding: Day After Portraits in the Sea
Kirsty and Ben were married on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Cyprus at the Aphrodite Hills Resort. Set on the rocky coastline overlooking the sea, the resort has a rugged unspoilt beach down a cliff, with views of the stunning sunset. The day after the wedding we went to the deserted beach for more portraits to really take advantage of the location. Kirsty was willing to get sandy and eventually soaking in her wedding dress, and we got some fun and romantic shots of the newly weds on the beach.
A Day After portrait session is an ideal way to really capture the beautiful setting and atmosphere of your wedding abroad at a more relaxed pace. There isn’t always a lot of time on the wedding day for photos, and that’s not really how you want to be spending a big part of your day. With less restrictions on time and location we can explore more locations with less limitations. You do not have to get wet or ‘Trash the Dress’, or even be in your wedding attire for the portraits. Southsea: Hometown Instagrams
We’ve lived in Southsea for one whole year today. I’ve been bicycling and instagramming my way around Portsmouth, from summer days at the bandstand to chilly prom cycle rides on boxing day, and I thought I’d share some of my phone camera snaps. I can’t wait for another summertime by the seaside.
