Pre-wedding Photos at Lyndhurst Park Hotel
Nicola & Allan are getting married at the Lyndhurst Park hotel later in the summer. Here are some photos from our pre-wedding meet up at the New Forest hotel. Looking forward to the wedding in August…
Jessica and Stephen’s Hayling Island Wedding
Jess and Steve got married at St Peter’s Chuch on Hayling Island, with the reception at the newly refurbished Langstone hotel. This is my home turf and I was looking forward to getting some photos with the lovely view across Langstone Harbour, where I remember hunting for crabs as a child. I wasn’t disapointed , it was a fantastic wedding with oodles of photographic opportunity. With a pretty country church, a cornfield begging to be rolled in (why do wedding dresses have to be white!), gorgeous views over Langstone harbour and a cracking sunset, and I got some amazing photos if I do say so myself.
The ceremony was very personal, conducted by Steve’s cousin Tony, with readings and prayers from other family members. After the service we slipped into the cornfield next to the church for some photos with the bride and groom before everyone headed off to the hotel for the reception. Langstone Hotel has recently been refurbished in a sleek modern style, and the Spinnaker suite has superb panoramic views. Everyone enjoyed the speeches and the happy couple did a great first dance, very strictly come dancing! As the band played and the sun set (more cool photos!), close friends and family snuck off to the back of the hotel to light and launch chinese lanterns into the darkening sky. It was a really nice moment before everyone went back to boogie some more.

Katie & Richard’s Beaulieu Abbey Wedding
What a Beaulieu-ful day! (Sorry, just couldn’t resist) Katie & Richard got married in the gorgeous surroundings of Beaulieu Abbey on a hot and sunny June day. The historic church was a grand setting for the ceremony and we got some great bride and groom pictures outside in the ruins of the old Abbey afterwards. (thanks to best man Gareth for the last minute check on access!) Somehow with the biggest zoom lens I could hold I did manage to get that shot of Richard’s shoes- don’t know if everyone spotted those 
After a speedy horse and carriage ride through the New Forest they celebrated with their guests at the Beaulieu hotel. My thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome. All credit goes to Katie for her unrehearsed speech- Now I know why her dad was wearing those sunglasses coming up to the church. Evening celebrations kicked off with a classy choreographed first dance and I left as everyone was dancing away to the band.
